I was just 16 when Russell Brand groomed me – I had to punch him in stomach to stop horrific sexual assault

A WOMAN has claimed she was sexually assaulted by Russell Brand when she was just 16 – with the comedian allegedly referring to her as “the child”.

In an explosive expose by The Times, the alleged victim, claimed she met the actor while she was still at school and he was 31.

Russell Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse by four women, including one aged just 16

As reported by The Times, the young teen – who used the pseudonym Alice – claimed to be in a controlling and emotionally abusive relationship with Brand for around three months after he picked her up when she had been out shopping for clothes.

She also alleged in shocking claims the comedian, now 48, sexually assaulted her and forced her to perform oral sex.

Alice, who was a virgin when she says was approached by Brand, told The Times she had to punch the actor and comedian in the abdomen to try and stop the alleged attack.

In the string of claims, the woman said Brand used to send a car to her school and pick her up while he was a BBC radio presenter and host of Channel 4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

They met when she was 16 after he approached her in Leicester Square where she had been shopping in Topshop, Alice claimed.

She told The Times: “He took my shopping bags from me which was quite disarming and proceeded to go through my purchases and critique them, and then he took one dress out and said to me, ‘You’re going to wear this on our date this week’.”

Alice alleged the actor was not phased when she told him she was only 16-years-old, still in school, and had not had sex before.

She claimed he called her “my little dolly” and he was obsessed with her virginity.

After they began having a sexual relationship, Alice claimed Brand told her to read the novel Lolita and advised her on how to lie to her parents.

In Lolita, a middle-aged man becomes obsessed with a 12-year-old girl who he later kidnaps and sexually abuses.

Despite being of the UK legal age of consent, the alleged victim’s family have described Brand’s behaviour as “grooming”.

She told The Times she remembers wearing a “red wiggle dress” with her “hair blown out and makeup” when she went on a first date with Brand. She added: “I didn’t look like a woman by any means. I was a child that had got dressed up for dinner.”

She claims during the date Brand asked her if she was 16, adding: “I don’t give f**** if you’re 12 … I need to know where I stand legally.”

Alice told The Times the relationship isolated her from friends and family, as the then 31-year-old would tell her people would “be looking to make money” if they found out.

She said: “Russell engaged in the behaviours of a groomer, looking back, but I didn’t even know what that was then, or what that looked like.”

He called her “the child” and “my baby”, according to Alice who said she consented to having sex in the early stages of their short-lived relationship.

But she claimed shortly before the relationship ended, Brand had sexually assaulted her as she was sitting on a bed.

She told The Times: “I ended up having to punch him really hard in the stomach to get him off. I was crying and he said: ‘Oh, I only wanted to see your mascara run anyway.’

“I knew at that point that he didn’t care about hurting my physically or emotionally. It shouldn’t take you having to punch someone and to wind them to get them off you.”

Alice also alleged his management was aware of their relationship and suggested he kept her hidden from the public eye.

In 2020 the alleged victim reached out to Brand’s literary agent, Angharad Wood and told his representatives her claims.

She told The Times that she wanted an apology from the 48-year-old but was told he was at a wellness retreat.

The “aggressive” response she allegedly received was sent by Brand’s lawyer.

As reported by The Times, she said: “It was very aggressive, said very clearly I was after money and implied that it was almost blackmail that I was doing.

“I’ve never mentioned money. [The lawyer was] the only person that’s ever mentioned money.”

In response she wrote that she will not be “dismissed” or “intimidated into invalidating” her alleged assaults.

“To even imply that there is a quantifiable amount that would compensate for sexual assault is frankly insulting,” she added.

When The Times contacted the representatives three years after this communication, Brand was taken off their website.

Tavistock Wood said: “Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him.

“Tavistock Wood has terminated all professional ties to Brand.”

It comes as Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse by four women.

The four alleged victims have claimed that Brand attacked them between 2006 and 2013 at the height of his fame.

Another woman claimed she was a victim of an assault at Brand’s home in 2013 after they met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Phoebe, who was in her 20s, says she had been working with the comedian at his house when she realised they were alone.

She claims she was trapped as Brand, who was naked, chased her around.

Phoebe alleges he “grabbed me and got me on the bed”.

She added: “And I saw something come over his eyes, I swear to God, like, black, his eyes had no more colour, they were black, like the devil. Like a different person literally entered his body.”

A third woman, Nadia, claimed Brand raped her against a wall at his LA apartment without a condom on.

The alleged brutal attack came after she refused to have a threesome with another “friend” the actor had waiting in a bedroom.

She told The Times: “I’m stuck underneath the painting and he’s pushing up against me.

“He’s a lot taller than me. And he has that glazed look in his eye again. And I can’t move. And I told him, ‘Get off, get off.’”

After the alleged rape, the comedian sent her an apology text which read: “He wrote: “I’m sorry. That was crazy and selfish. I hope you can forgive me, I know that you’re a lovely person. X.”

It comes after the comedian uploaded a video denying all claims.

He stated although he had been “promiscuous” in his past, he said he “absolutely refutes” the “serious” claims made against him.

In a video posted to his X, formerly known as Twitter, the 48-year-old blasted the allegations as ” extremely egregious and aggressive attacks”.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: “Amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations, that I absolutely refute.

“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies.

“And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.

It comes as…

“Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual.

“I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I’m being transparent about it now as well.”

He stressed he “absolutely denies” the potentially life-changing allegations.

Amid the bombshell claims, Brand’s sister-in-law Kirsty Gallacher, showed support by sharing the comedian’s video on her Instagram. The post, sharing Brand’s denial video, was later removed.

However, she has not posted any further comments or statement in light of the devastating allegations.

His wife, Laura Gallacher has deleted her Instagram account and kept silent since the claims were made against, with whom she is expecting her third child.

Andrew Tate spoke out earlier today after Brand uploaded his intense monologue through the night.

He wrote on social media: “Welcome to the club @rustyrockets,”and a photo with the caption: “on my way to fight the crazy b**** allegations.”

Meanwhile Elon Musk has also replied to Brand’s Tweet sharing the video, and wrote: “Of course. They don’t like competition.”

Channel 4 is releasing a 90 minute Dispatches special tonight that will expose Brand’s alleged behaviour.

Reports said the programme has been “years in the making” and was being edited “up to the last minute.”

The Channel 4 TV guide lists tonight’s programme as ‘New: Dispatches Special. A 90-minute special Dispatches investigation’.

Despite serious claims made against him, Brand is still set to perform in front of thousands at Wembley tonight.

The comedian is yet to cancel the sold out gig for 2,000 people at Troubadour Wembley Park in London.

Russell Brand’s video transcript in full

Hello there, you awakening wonders.

Now this isn’t the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story I am the news.

I have received two extremely disturbing letters – well a letter and an email.

One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks as well as some pretty stupid stuff – like my community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.

But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque, attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream – when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies, and as I have written about extensively in my books I was very very promiscuous

Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And I’m being transparent about it now as well.

And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question is there another agenda at play?

Particularly when we have seen coordinated media attacks before – like with Joe Rogan when he dared to take a medicine that the mainstream media didn’t approve of and we saw a spate of headlines from media outlets across the world using the same language.

I’m aware that you guys have been saying in the comments for a while ‘Watch out Russell, they are coming for you, you are getting too close to the truth, Russell Brand did not kill himself’.

I know that a year ago there was a spate of articles ‘Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorist, Russell Brand’s right wing’.

I’m aware of news media making phone calls, sending letters to people I know for ages and ages.

It’s been clear to me or at least it feels to me like there’s a serious and concerted agenda to control these kind of spaces and these kind of voices and I mean my voice along with your voice.

I don’t mind them using my books and my stand up to talk about my promiscuous  consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very very serious criminal allegations.

Also it’s worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct apparently in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack

Now I don’t want to get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I’m being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together

We are obviously going to look into this matter because it’s very, very serious. In the meantime I want you to stay close, stay awake but more important than any of that if you can, please, stay free.
