Iconic nineties boyband announce biggest headline show in a decade – and tickets go on sale this week

CULT nineties boyband Damage are returning to the UK for their biggest headline show of the decade.

The British R&B group will be in London next year to celebrate their 30-year legacy – and they’ll be bringing along some special guests.

The group are currently on their 30IRTY The Anniversary Tour which has been met with huge support, including a sold out gig at Islington Academy.

Their members include Jade Jones, Andrez Harriott, Rahsaan Jas and Noel Simpson.

Special guests for next year’s main show also include R&B diva Kele Le Roc and DJ Manny Norte.

Speaking about the long-awaited show, the group said: “Our fans have shown us so much love and we can’t wait to take to the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire stage next December for our biggest headline show in 10 years, celebrating 30 years together.

“It’s going to be epic! With Kele Le Roc, Manny Norte and more joining us, it’s a party you don’t want to miss!”

The group burst onto the scene in 1995 with their groundbreaking debut album Forever.

Damage achieved success in the nineties with 11 hit singles, including four top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart alongside former member Coreé Richards.

The band had two top 20 albums, including Forever at number 13.

Their next album, Since You’ve Been Gone, reached number 16 in the UK Album Chart in 2001.

Damage are now recognized as one of the UK’s most influential R&B groups, having sold over four million records worldwide.

Fans will remember hits like Love 2 Love, Love Guaranteed, Forever and Ghetto Romance.

Throughout their career, Damage played a key role in elevating British R&B onto the global stage, launching the careers of singers such as Craig David with their B single I Am Ready.

They later appeared on ITV’s The Big Reunion in 2014 and joined arena tours alongside Blue, 5ive and Eternal.

Most recently, the group performed as special guests for R&B heavyweights Boyz II Men and appeared at top UK festivals such as Wireless, Soul Town and KISSTORY.
