Jake Gyllenhaal’s last premiere was a family affair!
The actor and his girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu, went out on House on the road premiering at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York on Tuesday. They were joined by his parents, director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal.
Jake’s parents wore smart casual looks for the occasion, while his father donned a long blue jacket, jeans and a black sweater. His mother opted for a black blazer and matching trousers. She completed her look with a patterned blouse.
Jake, 43, kept things simple with a black suit, adding a pop of color with a yellow tie. Cadieu, 28, followed suit and put her style on a head-to-toe black ensemble that featured a plunging neckline top.
House on the road is a powerful remake of the 1989 classic of the same name, starring Patrick Swayze, Sam Elliott and Kelly Lynch.

In the new film by director Doug Liman, Jake plays ex-UFC fighter Elwood Dalton, who works as a bouncer at a bar in the Florida Keys. He eventually channels his fighting days after scaring off some of the bar’s unruly customers, however, he and the owner of the roadhouse are forced to confront a group of people who want to take over the property.
Jake detailed how he trained for the shirtless scenes in the Prime Video film, telling PEOPLE at its premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin this month that it “took a village.”
The star added: “I will tell you that I am where I am — I did it 10 years ago Southerner, which is another fight movie, and I was in second place. My body was, I knew I needed help with nutrition and I knew I needed to protect myself from injury and I also needed to be able to have the aesthetics of the whole role.”
“Balancing all of that required a group of people who helped me throughout.”
He also hailed his “amazing” trainer Jason Walsh and “wonderful” chef Paulette Tejeda, as well as nutritionist.

Jake previously said he would like to get advice from Swayze, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2009. He was 57.
“I knew him to be one of the most generous, kindest people I’ve ever met. He was just fun and loving, and throughout the years we stayed in touch,” Jake said of Swayze in the spring of 2024. Men’s health digital cover story.

He continued: “If Patrick was around I would love to talk to him about this. He was a top artist and he understood what that meant. I hope he knows that I have the utmost respect and love for him.”
Road House debuts on Prime Video on Thursday.
