James Corden is making his first major career move since ending his role The Late Late Show.
The producer, actor and television personality has decided to add another medium to his resume by taking his talents to the airwaves on SiriusXM with his own show, according to an official press release from the company.
Sirius XM is preparing to reveal more details about Corden’s new gig on November 8 during the Next Generation Industry & Press Preview event. The upcoming project will be titled This Life of Mine with James Cordenwhich should premiere at the beginning of next year.

“I am thrilled to be joining SiriusXM,” Corden said in a statement. “Scott and the entire team have made me feel so welcome as I begin this new chapter. It’s a dream to have a space for deep conversations with people whose work and talent I really admire.”
According to SiriusXM, This Life of Mine with James Corden “will feature in-depth interviews with the world’s biggest stars, discussing the people, places, moments and memories that have made them who they are today. From favorite music and movies to books and advice, the show will seek to tell the untold stories of some of the most famous public figures.”
Corden’s new show will be available exclusively to SiriusXM subscribers via its streaming app as well as in-car.

Corden is gone The Late Late Show in April after eight years of working as a host. Announcing his plans to leave a year ago, the TV host got emotional looking back on his time on the show.
“When I started this journey, it was always just that. It was going to be a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final destination, you know?” he said then. “And I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think a year from now will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there.”
Corden later said that his children with wife Julia Carey — son Max and daughters Carey, 8, and Charlotte — partly inspired his departure. He believed that future projects could no longer go “at the expense” of his children.
“That’s really all it comes down to,” he said. “I’m going to be a mess at that last show, I’m going to cry. But I’ll know in my core that the best thing for me and the best thing for us as a family is to put down roots in London, and it feels absolutely right in every way.”

Corden’s 12:30 a.m. slot on CBS, meanwhile, has been filled with a new show, After midnightand is hosted by comedian Taylor Tomlinson.
In addition to his SiriusXM gig, Corden continues to serve as an executive producer on Apple TV+ Karaoke in a carpoolwhich is based on the popular segment of the same name that originated on The Late Late Show.
