Jamie Foxx’s Sexual Assault Accuser Requests Her Identity Remain Anonymous: ‘This Matter Is Highly Sensitive’

Jamie Foxx’s sexual assault accuser asks to remain anonymous.

In a prosecutor’s affidavit filed Tuesday in New York Supreme Court, the plaintiff, who goes by the name “Jane Doe,” wrote: “I do not want to publicly disclose my identity as a sexual assault victim because this is a very sensitive matter and I have already experienced significant shock, I am ashamed and embarrassed by the mental impact of the attack and I fear retaliation from others in the community.”

“It was very difficult for me to come forward and talk about the events that happened,” the prosecutor also said. “The sexual assault I suffered has caused depression, anxiety, sleep deprivation, anxiety and I fear public disclosure will cause further emotional trauma.”

Last week, Foxx, 55, issued a statement through a spokesperson saying “the alleged incident never happened.”

“That person filed an almost identical lawsuit in Brooklyn in 2020. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter,” the statement said. “The lawsuits are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again.”

“And when they are, Mr. Foxx intends to file a malicious prosecution lawsuit against this individual and his attorneys for refiling this frivolous lawsuit,” they concluded.
