Beyoncé fed her fans two looks at the London premiere of her concert film, Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie.
The superstar revealed her first look of the night in photos she shared on her website. She rocked a custom Thom Browne, wearing a long open jacket that revealed a bodysuit underneath. The bodysuit featured floral embroidery, while fingerless gloves and pointed platforms added an extra edginess to the look.
Beyoncé also wore two pear-shaped diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry, totaling 20 carats with rock crystal drops. The music icon also wore more than 50 carats of diamond rings from the jewelry designer.
For the after party, the theme was “diamonds and pearls”, as the singer stepped out in a sparkly Balmain miniskirt. The look covered Beyoncé in crystals and pearls, which created tassels on her hips. A dramatic blue jewel sat in the center of her chest. He completed the look with opera gloves.
In an Instagram post, Balmain shared a series of photos of Beyoncé in the look. In the caption, the house described the look as “reminiscent of the glittering, all-silver glam of the Renaissance World Tour and reminds us that she is indeed the one and only Alien Superstar.”
Beyoncé wore her long platinum hair in a wavy half-updo. The hair change made waves last week, when comments on social media led Beyonce’s mum, Tina Knowles, to hit back suggesting her daughter was “lightening her skin and wearing platinum hair trying to be white”.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “I’m sick and tired of people attacking her. Every time she does something she works really hard for and it’s a testament to her work ethic, talent and resilience. This is where you sad little haters come out of the wooden structure.”
Beyoncé arrived at the premiere in London with her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. The sweet mother-daughter moment left Tina “in tears,” she wrote in another Instagram post.
Taylor Swift, Michelle Williams and Blake Lively were also at the premiere in London.
