Jamie Lee Curtis Remembers Parents Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis: ‘Missing Them Both Now for a Long Time’

Jamie Lee Curtis pays tribute to her late parents Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis.

The Oscar winner shared a black-and-white throwback photo of the cast on Instagram on Tuesday, marking 19 years since mum Janet died in 2004 aged 77. Last week marked 13 years since Tony died in 2010 at the age of 85.

In her tribute, Curtis said her mom and dad will support the ongoing actors’ strike and the issues the SAG-AFTRA union is championing.

“Janet Leigh left us today in 2004 and Tony Curtis last week in 2010,” wrote Curtis, 64. “I have missed them both for a long time and know from their activism that they will stand by @sagaftra and this righteous fight to protect their identity and ours!”
