Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet’s Divorce Granted Just One Day After Filing

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have settled their divorce.

PEOPLE has obtained court documents filed in California Supreme Court on Tuesday confirming the former couple’s divorce. This happened after Bonet (56) filed for divorce on Monday.

The Aquaman star, 44, i The Cosby Show the alum seemingly agreed on the terms of the divorce before filing.

According to their marital settlement agreement, or MSA, “they are fully satisfied with the disclosures provided” and are “sufficiently familiar with the terms of the MSA, the value of the property to be divided between them, and the income of each of them.”

The couple, who married on October 7, 2017, have two children: daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15. Bonet is also mom to actress Zoë Kravitz with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.

According to Momoe and Bonet’s MSA, each parent was awarded “joint legal custody” of Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, who are minors. Both will be equally responsible for the health, education and welfare of their children.

No child support agreement has been concluded at this time.

The Game of Thrones alum and A different world the actress will “share the living expenses” of their two children. If one parent chooses to travel with the children, “that party shall bear the Children’s expenses for such travel.”

Momoa and Bonet also waived their right to seek spousal support from each other.

“Such waiver of support shall be permanent and final and no court anywhere shall have power or jurisdiction to award spousal support in favor of either party,” their MSA states.

Although their marriage is officially over, they won’t be legally single until July 9.

In yesterday’s petition for divorce, Bonet stated irreconcilable differences and set the date of separation as October 7, 2020.

When they announced their split two years ago, Bonet and Momoa said in a statement, “We’ve all felt the pressure and changes of these transformative times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts that are taking place.”

“And so,” they added at the time, “we share the news with the family that we are separating in marriage.”

They explained that they were sharing the update “not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that as we live our lives, we can do so with dignity and integrity.”

“The love between us continues, evolving in ways it wants to be known and lived. We free each other to be what we learn to become,” they said, adding, “Our commitment is unwavering to this sacred life of our children. Teaching our children what is possible. Live the prayer. Let love prevail.”
