It is a sequel to the Tickells’ documentary Kiss the ground and covers “the deeply personal stories of those on the front lines of the food movement.”
In a statement, the Tickells said yes Common ground is “an urgent call to action and a blueprint for how we can save the future, heal our climate, and fix our broken food system—all through regenerative agriculture.”

“Ultimately, the core Common ground empowers and educates viewers, farmers, policy makers, corporate leaders, influencers and students with the tools and information they need to change our food and farming systems,” they said.
“Information is power,” the directors added. “By distributing the powerful information in this film to as many people as possible, we are empowering millions of people to become change makers.”
Common ground is in select theaters from September 27.
