Jennifer Garner Tells Ryan Reynolds 'I'll Fight Bad Guys for You Any Day' After He Praises Her ‘Blackbelt in Nice’

Ryan Reynolds continues to thank the A-list stars who appeared in the leading roles Deadpool & Wolverineand now it’s Jennifer Garner’s turn to receive special praise.

On Monday, Aug. 5, Reynolds, 47, expressed gratitude for his Project Adam Costar Garner, 52, who reprized her role as Elektra in the latest Dead pool movie.

The Canadian actor took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of Garner in the film, with one photo showing them posing with Wesley Snipes, who reprized his role as Blade in the film.

Another photo shows Reynolds and Garner sharing a laugh with director Shawn Levy, and a final black-and-white shot shows Garner smiling for the camera, among other images.

“This person @jennifer.garner. She’s a black belt in beauty, but she’s got an unblinking hurricane of revenge™️ inside her,” Reynolds captioned the post.

“I’ve worked with Jen twice already. She brings a completely different range of skills to each film, but she can’t hide one detail… I don’t care how talented someone is, you can’t hide humanity,” he added.

“She’s not just one of my favorite artists, she’s one of my favorite people. I love her now and always will owe her one. Or five. What a ball. #ElektraForever,” Reynolds concluded.

Garner responded to the post, sharing it on her Instagram stories with the message: “I will fight the bad guys everyday for you @vancityreynolds thank you so much for having me and for the years of kindness and generosity”

The Yes day The star also saluted stunt double Shauna Duggins, sharing a snap of the two on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Twenty-four years and three Elektras together and you’re better than ever, @shaunaduggins.”

Reynolds’ latest announcement to Garner comes after he shared his gratitude to Channing Tatum, whose dream came true after playing Gambit/Remy LeBeau in the film; an The X-Men a character Tatum, 44, has spent more than a decade trying to bring to the big screen.

“Gambit is the guy Chan was born to be,” Reynolds’ Instagram caption included on Monday.

“His story is similar to my path Dead pool — in which Chan spent a decade trying to put the most comically accurate version of Gambit on the big screen,” he said, adding a photo gallery of Tatum in the film and calling him “one of the greatest, hardest working, kindest people in this entire industry.”

Earlier in the day, Reynolds praised 62-year-old Snipes’ impressive performance as Blade, whose role dates back to the original 1998 film.

“There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade creating a market first,” Reynolds wrote in his Instagram caption. “He’s Marvel’s dad. Please share for a send-off like Logan.”
