Jim Carrey has again cut the price of his longtime home.
The Yeah Man The 62-year-old actor originally put his 10,954-square-foot Los Angeles property on the market for $28.9 million in February 2023, but has since dropped the asking price several times after failing to find a buyer. First, he reduced the property to $27 million about two months after listing it. He later reduced it a second time, in October 2023, to $24 million.
This week, he cut it even further, to $21.9 million, with a total discount of $7 million.

Located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood, the one-story home has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three half bathrooms. The sprawling estate is spread over two acres and has a tennis court, a pool with a waterfall, and an outdoor platform for yoga and meditation, among other amenities.

The primary suite includes a wood paneled bathroom with double vanities, fireplace, soaking tub and leaded glass windows for privacy. Additional rooms in the home include a custom art deco theater, gym, office, and secondary en-suite bedrooms.

Outdoor amenities include a spa area, pool house with wet bar, infrared sauna, steam room and a guest suite – which can also double as a separate gym.

Carrey announced he was taking a break from his decades-long Hollywood career in April 2022 — nearly a year before he announced his home — during an interview with Access to Hollywood.
“I’m pretty serious,” he said. “It depends. If the angels bring some kind of script that’s written in gold ink, that tells me it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road. But I’m resting.”

Carrey he went on to say that he enjoys his “quiet life” and making art: “I’ve got enough, I’ve done enough. I’m enough.”
