Application for JK NMMS scholarship 2023
JK NMMS Scholarship 2023: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) invites applications for National Means and Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS). Eligible candidates from 2019 to 2022 can apply for the scholarships at the official website: scholarships.gov.in. It is important to note that the last date for applications is November 30, 2023.

Who can apply for the JK NMMS scholarship 2023?
9th grade government school students who have passed the NMMS exam and whose parental income is less than Rs 3,50,0000 per annum are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Notably, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas are not eligible for the scheme. Under the JK NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2023, the selected candidates will get Rs 12,000 per annum.
“Furthermore, it is also notified for information of all concerned candidates of NMMS examination year 2021, 2020 and 2019 studying in class 10, 11 and 12 respectively during the session 2023-24 and receiving National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme can also submit online applications for the respective renewal installments on the national scholarship portal on or before November 30, 2023,” the official notification said.
What after submitting the JK NMMS 2023 scholarship application form?
Once the applications are submitted, they will be verified by the relevant authorities by December 15, 2023. Then, the Chief Education Officer will carry out the Level 2 verification at the district level by December 30, 2023.
