Justin Timberlake opened up this week to relax a bit between tour stops.
The “Mirrors” singer, 43, took some time out for a quick party with a friend in lower Manhattan on Thursday (June 27). He was photographed taking a casual stroll to the golf course wearing a vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt and blue basketball shorts and a baseball hat, complementing his modest cut with shades.
Golf is one of Timberlake’s favorite pastimes as he participated in a special celebrity game during the PGA Tour’s 2023 World Tech Championship in Mexico. He is also friends with golf champion Tiger Woods, with whom he opened a sports bar in New York last year.

According to a report of Timberlake’s arrest obtained by PEOPLE, an officer saw the Grammy winner’s 2025 BMW run a stop sign and “fail to maintain the right side of the roadway” while on routine patrol. The officer initiated a traffic stop and stated that Timberlake’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy, had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, was unable to divide attention, had slurred speech, was unsteady in his gait, and failed all standardized field tests.” sobriety tests.”

Timberlake was cited once for driving while intoxicated and twice, once for running a stop sign and once for failure to maintain a lane. The singer’s virtual court hearing is scheduled for July 26 — the same day his tour stops in Krakow, Poland. His lawyer will attend in his place.
In a statement to PEOPLE on June 19, Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said, “Mr. Burke looks forward to a vigorous defense of Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the right time. He is currently awaiting full disclosure from the DA’s office.”
