So, Mila will make contact in her private way. Kate showed such compassion, care and support to Mila during and after treatment, so it was very emotional to see her now facing her health issues.”

During her cancer treatment, Mila and the princess kept in touch by phone, and in December 2021 she took part in a Christmas carol concert led by Kate at Westminster Abbey.

For Kate’s birthday in January 2022, Mila posted birthday wishes to her on Xu, to which the princess replied and wrote: “Thank you Mila!”
