Ashwanth Ashokkumar is an Indian child artist working in Tamil Cinema (also known as Kollywood). He gained recognition for his role as Rasukutty in the movie Super Deluxe. He has also appeared in numerous television commercials and reality shows such as Teen Superstars.

Ashwanth Ashokkumar was born on Thursday, September 15, 2011, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (10 years old as of 2021). He studied at Vani Vidyalaya High School and Junior College, Chennai. Ashwanth’s talent was first recognized when he was in first grade. He got his first chance on a reality TV show. Later, his impressive talent led him to receive project proposals for many Tamil films and television shows.

In 2018, Ashwanth made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie “Sandakozhi 2”, playing the role of Sembaruthi (the protagonist)’s brother. In 2019, he played Bbloo in the horror film Airaa, Rasukutty in the black comedy film Super Deluxe, (young) Saravanan in Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2, Kutta in the film Thambi, As well as playing the role of Ashwanth in the movie “Action”. Ashwanth Ashokkumar first appeared on television in 2016 as a contestant in the Tamil reality show “Junior Super Star”, which was adapted from the Hindi reality show “India’s Best Dramebaaz”. After working as an actor in films and TV series, Ashwanth decided to come out as a writer and director during the nationwide lockdown caused by Covid-19 and produced a YouTube series for children, ‘Ondipulli’. All content of the series, including story, script, dialogues and voice-overs, has been done by Ashwanth. The story tells about the life of animals in the jungle. Two tigers prey on animals, causing the jungle to become desolate. One of the tigers decided to stop this destructive behavior and the other tiger was angry about it. In Ondipulli, Ashwanth narrates the story and all the toys are organized to create a jungle on the screen.
