When I heard about PP, I was happy to contact director Maari Selvaraj, who felt I was suitable for the eponymous role. Actors need space to prove their talents. PP created this space and gave me the space to perform. Even when I heard the script, I knew I had to work really hard on my physical and mental stamina. I’m ready. We shot for 45 days under the scorching sun in Tirunelveli and Mali would shoot for two and a half hours running, jumping, falling and running back. Even to find shelter, you have to walk a mile. ”
In 2019, Kathir acted in four films; Sigai as Mathivanan, Sathru as SI Kathiresan, Bigil as Kathir and Jada as Jada.
