The Sun first told how Katie and the married couple (31) got close a few weeks ago and were later seen on a night out in Newcastle.
But it seems that they have taken their romance to the next level as they were happily photographed on their way to a restaurant.
Mum-of-five Katie showed off her huge stomach tattoo in a crop top with cargo pants, while JJ – real name John Joe – carried a Gucci bag under his arm.
Earlier this week, a source told The Sun: “Katie has spent time in JJ’s hometown in Essex and has already met his friends.
“He has a reputation for falling hard and fast and so far it looks like things will be no different with JJ.”
Their romance didn’t go down well with JJ’s ex Ella Morgan after she got close to Katie – and now she feels blindsided by it all.
JJ famously broke up with Ella after the pair cheated on their partners during the TV show and embarked on a short-lived relationship.
An insider said: “Ella is angry and feels really betrayed by Katie for talking to her ex JJ.

“Ella and Katie have become friends in recent months, so she was surprised that Katie did this.
“She has no feelings for JJ, she’s just furious that Katie went behind her back and broke the girl code.”
JJ previously admitted he was a bit of a “player” and “party boy”, enjoying a taste of the high life and hanging out with A-listers like Gigi Hadid, with whom he was pictured at an event in 2013.
JJ even partied with Kendall Jenner at an LA nightclub once, thanks to his relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Kelsie Jean Smeby.
He eventually returned to the UK after she allegedly cheated on him, leaving him heartbroken.
Katie split from fiancé Carl Woods for good on New Year’s Eve after four years of dating, leaving her single and ready to mingle.
Carl and Katie were even believed to have planned a secret wedding after reuniting after a split, but the marriage never materialized.
She announced their separation with a defiant New Year’s post on social networks.
