KATIE Price was mocked by a judge who told her she “doesn’t need an Einstein” after she lamented the cost of her court battle.
The former glamor model, 46, appeared at the High Court to face a bankruptcy hearing – hours after she was arrested at Heathrow Airport.

Price wore a headband and sunglasses as she arrived on foot in London, having recently undergone her sixth facelift.
But she was cleared by a judge after she claimed she was charged £50,000 for legal advice.
Price said she wants to attend the next hearing remotely, saying, “I’m having a hard time in court.
“I was judged by another high court.”
Judge Schaffer told her that she had to file for it and that she should seek legal advice.
Price replied: “With legal advice, I tried to get legal advice but I was charged £50,000 up front.
“Now in bankruptcy at this point, bankruptcy takes 40 percent.
“It’s hard for me to do that. I can’t even get legal help because I’m making money.”
The judge told her she simply needed a lawyer who should not cost more than £500.
Then he snapped, “This is a discreet application. You don’t need Einstein for that.”
Wearing a beige outfit, Price was earlier surrounded by photographers as she arrived at the hearing at 2pm.
The court appearance came just hours after she was arrested on her return to the UK following a trip to Turkey.
During the hearing, which Price attended remotely from a nearby building, she was asked to agree to two commitments.
The judge asked her to reappear in court at the Rolls Building on August 27 and to provide the documents when requested.
Price was told: “There will be two forms of commitment, the first is that you must attend your public examination before the court when it is listed.
“You have to come on that date, there are no ifs or buts, no holidays, no going abroad, you have to come on that date.”

The judge warned Price that he faced repeat theft if he did not comply.
Price confirmed she understood she had to attend and later added, “I’m going to move my diary for that.”
Judge Schaffer also quashed an arrest warrant issued against her on July 30 by another judge after she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing.
Price was held at Heathrow after a High Court judge issued a warrant for her arrest for failing to appear in court.
She was arrested to ensure she appeared in court before a judge – after she skipped an appearance last Tuesday as part of her £760,000 bankruptcy fight.
Footage emerged last night showing her being confronted by police officers and taken into a police van as she exited a British Airways flight.
She was remanded in custody to appear in court today but was granted bail by an out-of-hours judge in the middle of the night.
The Sun understands she was released on medical grounds after undergoing her sixth facelift in Turkey a few days ago.
Price flew out of the UK just hours before she was due to appear in court as part of her ongoing £760,000 bankruptcy battle.
She then underwent £10,000 eye and chin surgery in Istanbul after her usual surgeon refused to do the work for her.
Despite a warrant for her arrest, she was seen enjoying her holiday as she soaked up the sun at a five-star hotel in Istanbul.
It comes after a source previously revealed Katie had extended her trip due to fears she would be arrested with staples on her face after the operation.
They told The Sun: “Katie is actually extending her holiday and plans to stay longer in Turkey.
“She is worried she will be arrested at the airport when she lands back in the UK and will have to go to jail before the metal staples are removed from her face.
“She’s really worried about getting arrested in front of Harvey, and that would upset her.
“It is better for her to hide in Turkey and recover there.”
Full statement from Katie Price
I would just like to thank everyone who has shown support and sympathy this week with my arrest situation.
Despite what was wrongly reported, I am now back from filming my documentary.
I’ve never just been overseas and I didn’t know what was going on and I stand by the facts, which is that there was a misunderstanding between a number of people here regarding my bankruptcy.
However, I am now returning home from work and am aware that I will be detained at the airport, which is apparently what the courts deem necessary.
Of course, I hope for the sake of my sons who are with me that they will allow me some dignity and protection at least for his sake because it will be extremely upsetting for him.
Although I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I am being treated like a criminal.
I would like to emphasize once again that this is a very unfortunate financial situation which, however difficult, does not make a criminal or a bad person.
Millions of people suffer losses and go through bankruptcy, for many different reasons, mine was due to serious mental health issues and breakdowns caused by PTSD.
Although it was difficult, I will repeatedly stand behind the fact that I am not embarrassed or ashamed that this happened to me.
People lose their lives every day because of the inconvenience and fear of situations like this, and the public bullying I’ve endured over this issue is just not right. I will continue to speak about it and I will not be ashamed.
I am and continue to pay back debtors as ordered by the court.
I will take this up with the police and courts when I land and ask that for the sake of my son Harvey be treated with care and compassion.
I’m just a human being after all. I appreciate all of you for continuing to show me love, it means a lot to me.
Price herself said she was aware she would be arrested upon her return to the UK from holiday.
In a statement pleading for the “protection” of son Harvey, she said: “I am aware that I will be detained at the airport, which is obviously what the courts feel is necessary.
“Of course, I hope that because of my son who is with me, it will allow some dignity and protection at least for his sake.”
Price added: “This will be extremely upsetting for him to see.
“Even though I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I’m being treated like a criminal.”
Just hours before her arrest, Price was begging fans for money on OnlyFans.
Yesterday, she opened her Instagram Stories, inviting her 2.7 million followers to view her content on the X-rated platform.
Price declared bankruptcy in November 2019 and again in March of this year.
At a hearing in February, she was ordered to pay 40 percent of her monthly income from adult entertainment website OnlyFans over the next three years toward her first bankruptcy.
She then went bankrupt for a second time in March owing more than £750,000 in unpaid tax.
Making the order last week, Judge Burton said Katie had failed to make court-ordered payments.
“She has no real excuse for not coming to the hearing,” she said. “The reason for her absence is irrelevant.”
Katie has been served with an eviction notice ordering her to vacate her £2million Mucky Mansion by the end of May as bailiffs swooped in.
She was supposed to hand over her six cars – a Volkswagen Beetle, a Nissan, two Range Rovers, a Suzuki Vitara and an Infiniti FX50 – on July 5.
The star also indicated she would hand in her pink Range Rover but has so far failed to do so, the court was told.
It comes after hotel guests criticized Price for “ruining their holiday”.
Her bloody face was seen as she enjoyed a swim in the pool of the Sheraton Istanbul Atakoy Hotel.
Furious holidaymakers said they couldn’t relax as the mother-of-five paraded around with “pus-oozing cuts” and “joints holding her scalp”.
Katie was joined on the face-changing holiday by her boyfriend JJ Slater and son Harvey, 21.
