Kelly Rutherford slays at Fashion Week – and in life.
“I’ve always loved fashion,” says the 55-year-old actress, who was recently seen at Paris and New York Fashion Week looking stunning after a decade of parenting out of the limelight.
Now Melrose Place and Gossip girl the star also returned to the small screen, starring in a French comedy Escort boys, and embraces being on TV again and returning to red carpets.

Her secret to looking so good?
“I really don’t know,” she muses. “I think the secret is just not thinking about it too much and enjoying my life and somehow finding my peace and my happiness. I think that’s my lifestyle as well. I eat healthy. And also, my mom looks very young for her age , so maybe it’s genetics.”

He also makes sure to ignore all the nonsense about women after 50 being considered unimportant.
“I think the key is to just embrace it and enjoy your day and your life and enjoy your age, whatever age you are, and be really grateful for your health and well-being,” she says. – It’s all a blessing at the end of the day.
As far as fashion is concerned, she says she was into style even before she gained fame as a style connoisseur Gossip girl.
“It’s just the dreaminess of it all,” she says of embracing fashion. “I used to make vision boards. I’ve loved creating lives and creating worlds since I was very young. Not just fashion, but I’ve always loved design and architecture. I love beauty, I love cities.”

Even her elegant selfies in the elevator on Instagram did not go unnoticed.
“Social media has always been organic [thing] for me,” she says. “I don’t have anyone to do it for me. I never did. I post quotes and people like them, but it’s not necessarily for the likes or anything. I found my way with it. I think we’re just finding our way with all these things that are appropriate for our age, our lifestyle, the things we love.”
