Kendall Jenner Transforms Paparazzi Photos into High-Fashion Ads in Bottega Veneta’s New Campaign

Kendall Jenner hits the streets for her latest campaign.

The model, 28, is the latest star of Bottega Veneta’s pre-spring 2024 campaign, which launched with images of rapper A$AP Rocky, 35, on Tuesday. The campaign features photos of Jenner out and about, shot by real paparazzi and licensed by the label.

Real-life moments captured in the campaign prove that Jenner runs errands just like us — like when she grabbed sushi in West Hollywood (wearing a $12,000 coat) or stopped for gas (wearing a $4,300 jacket and skirt combo).

To make the campaign more honest, one photo even shows Jenner walking her dog Pyro in a $4,600 trench coat, ankle boots and $690 shades.

The campaign titled “READYMADE” was conceptualized by Rocky and Bottega Veneta’s creative director Matthieu Blazy. The creative collaborators wanted to highlight the relationship between celebrities and photographers.

In an Instagram post debuting the campaign, Rocky wrote: “Even with the rights and use of photos, and the tabloid frenzy, there’s always seemed to be a disconnect between famous people and the photographers who follow and shoot them.”

“While certain celebrities invite the paparazzi on them,” the rapper continued, “other celebrities might come into conflict with the photographers.” While a very small few, like me, don’t mind, as long as they post good angles, of course.”

“So this serves less as a campaign and more as a creative trifecta brought to you by (sic) Matthieu Blazy of Bottega Venette, myself A$AP Rocky and the talented tabloid style photographers involved.”

The innovative campaign received the stamp of approval from various celebrities in the comments, with Justin Bieber commenting: “This is it. 🙌” and Peso Pluma who called Rocky a “legend”.

The campaign comes as a relaxed change for the model, who recently starred in sexy photos for Jacquemus and Calvin Klein.

Jenner is also the founder of and stars in 818 Tequila The Kardashians along with his family, which just finished its fourth season.
