Kendra Wilkinson Went to Emergency Room After Suffering Panic Attack in L.A.

Kendra Wilkinson went to the hospital after suffering a panic attack.

Representative of the former Playboy The model confirmed to PEOPLE that the 38-year-old has recently been overwhelmed with balancing her life, her real estate business and her two children Hank IV, 13, and Alijah Mary, 9, who she shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett. The news was first reported by TMZ.

Wilkinson didn’t sleep Tuesday night due to a panic attack and made the decision to go to a Los Angeles hospital to get medical attention, a rep said. Baskett was also with her in the hospital.

The reality star recently opened up about her struggles with mental health. Earlier this year, she opened up to podcast host i The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga on feeling “so lost” after divorcing Baskett, 41.

During the June episode of PodcastOne’s Featured with Melissa Gorga Wilkinson shared that her divorce, combined with the end of her E! reality show, Kendra on top“caused my depression.”

“I went through a divorce, lost everything I knew, and that was my TV show. I had a TV show every year until the divorce,” said Gorga. “Then my divorce happened and suddenly, now I’m out of a marriage, I’m out of a show, I had to move into a small house – I didn’t understand what was going on and all of a sudden I had to do some intensive treatment.”

Wilkinson and Baskett married in 2009, but separated nearly 10 years later, with the divorce finalized in 2019. Their family, relationship and marriage took center stage Kendra on top, which debuted in 2012 and ran until 2017. The end of the series led to a four-year period in which Wilkinson did not host her own show. She was previously on E! The girls next door and Kendra.

Her latest series, Kendra sells Hollywoodfinished airing its second season in May after debuting on Max in November 2021.

“I haven’t had fame in years,” Wilkinson told Gorga. “I didn’t have everything I knew for a very long time. I didn’t know who I was. I was so lost.”

She explained that the apparent end of her reality TV career during her four-year hiatus made it “impossible to be happy at that moment,” adding, “I didn’t even know how to be happy. My kids were what gave me Purpose.”

Wilkinson also said her children encouraged her to “stay alive, to keep going, to take them to hockey and basketball and smile and watch them do everything. They’re the ones that make my heart beat.”
