Kim Kardashian Jokes Her Family ‘Scammed the System’ to Become Famous: ‘We Aren’t Supposed to Be Here’

When it comes to the powerful fame of the Kardashian-Jenner family, no one is more surprised than Kim Kardashian!

The SKIMS founder, 43, admitted how shocked she was that her family had become such a public figure as she recalled her early beginnings on Thursday’s Season 4 finale The Kardashians.

The topic came up as the family celebrated Scott Disick’s 40th birthday, with Kris Jenner raising a toast, recalling how she’s known him “most [his] adult life.”

“You were literally here, episode 1, season 1,” Kris, 68, told Scott, referring to their original reality series Keeping up with the Kardashians.

In response, Scott, 40, joked: “I was like, ‘This show is going nowhere!'”

“[Remember] when you were on the cover Fancy the dog?” Scott joked, to which Kim’s family quickly clarified that he did Magazine K9.

“Anything for the cover!” Kim responded by joking that she doesn’t even like dogs.

When Scott pointed out how far she had come and how she was now a lawyer and Vogue cover model, Kim whispered to the group, “Guys, we cheated the system. We did it! Whatever it was, we figured it out and we did it! We put in the hard work.”
