Kim Kardashian promised to stay single.
In Thursday’s episode The Kardashians, the 43-year-old reality star opened up about her plans to get back together, even though it won’t be in the next year. The topic came up as Kim flew to Las Vegas with her hairstylist Chris Appleton and his then-fiancé Lukas Gage for their wedding.
“So you think you’ve got another wedding in you?” Chris, 40, asked Kim, to which she replied: “I don’t know, I think I go back and forth.”

Chris noted that since he’s known Kim, “this is the best you’ve ever been.” He went on to tell the SKIMS founder, “You look amazing, you’re in control, your kids are down, work is down, and I don’t know, I just feel like you’re in a good place, happy.”
Kim simply put it down to being in a “quiet place,” adding, “So maybe it’s good to call on the energy then [in].”

In a confessional interview, the producer asked Kim where she was during her “two years of wanting to be alone.” The reality star looked confused at first, asking: “When did I say that?” But when the producer clarified that she said that “probably a year ago,” Kim expressed her approval.
“Okay, so I have another year,” she said. “I think it will be very good for me. [I’m] without seeking, they seem to find me, but I do not seek!”

While Kim may not be looking for love, she sure knows what she wants in her future partner. As she revealed in previous episodes, the reality star has an ongoing “manifesto list” of the qualities she wants in her next partner.
On their flight to Vegas, Kim opened her list to Chris and Lukas, 28, and read off some of the qualities she wanted, including “someone who calms me down and drives me crazy without airing our dirty laundry, someone who accepts you and pushes you to your highest potential .”
“I think my list is always evolving and growing and I won’t stop until he fits every single one of them,” Kim added in the confessional.
Later in the episode, after Chris and Lukas’ wedding, she opens up about why she still believes in love, despite being “divorced three times.”
“Of course, I’d be the Grinch if I didn’t,” she said to the cameras. “It’s so much fun, falling in love is the most fun thing on the planet.”

Kim Kardashian is ‘just not ready’ for a relationship yet and is seeing ‘absolutely no one’
This isn’t the first time Kim has opened up about her dating life The Kardashians. During an episode that aired last month, the reality star discussed what dating will look like when she finds the right person in the future.
“I have an age limit, people,” Kim told her friends during an episode in October. “I just need a little more age appropriate. I need it [someone in their] 40s.”
“When you’re single and all your friends are married, it’s like you have despair on your face and everyone under the sun wants to hook you up with someone,” she added in the confessional. “I’m really quite OK with being alone for a minute and the right situation will happen to me.”

As fans may recall, Kim’s last relationship with Pete Davidson ended in August 2022. She and the comedian — who was 13 years her junior — dated for nine months before calling it quits. She was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas, NBA player Kris Humphries and rapper Kanye West, with whom she shares children North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
Kim also made similar comments in a Season 3 episode the kardashians, admitting in the confessional, “Sometimes I go back and forth with my feelings, like, who’s ever going to want to date me? I’ve got four kids, I’m in my 40s … like, who’s going to want to deal with drama? But my person will be like, ‘Y— all of it. It’s going to be hard, but we’re in this together and we’re going to do this.’ So I’m just waiting for that person.”
Outside of the series, Kim has been open about her hopes of finding love again.
At the appearance in May 2023 at Intentionally with Jay Shetty podcast, she admitted, “I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and I’ll always want to be in love and I definitely like to share my life with someone, and I like to create a life with someone… I’m definitely going to take my time.”
