Kourtney Kardashian (and Her Daughter Penelope!) Feel ‘So Triggered’ by Tristan Thompson: ‘Can’t Be Around Him’

Kourtney Kardashian Barker shares her true feelings about sister Khloé Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson.

While waiting for Khloé and Tristan to come to her house in Palm Springs on Thursday’s episode of the series The KardashiansKourtney opened up about her thoughts on the NBA player – and why her daughter Penelope Disick isn’t a huge fan either.

“I feel like she got it from me,” Kourtney, 44, explained after asking her daughter – who she shares with ex Scott Disick – if it was okay for Tristan, 32, to come with Khloé, 39. “I told her on the first day of school, I was so turned on by him … I know why, but I feel like we all shrug it off and we’re fine, and then I was so turned on and I said, ‘I just can’t do it anymore.’ ”

The Poosh founder elaborated further in the confessional: “Tristan has made terrible decisions and choices with my sister. There are times when he turns me on so much that I can’t be around him, and then there are times when I just let it go because we just want harmony and, you know, he’s the father of my niece and nephew.”

After arriving at the house and greeting Kourtney, Khloé also addressed the status of her relationship with Tristan, with whom she has two children – daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 13 months.

“I’m really proud of myself for where me and Tristan are and how I can let him be the father he wants to be,” she said. “But me being with Tristan has nothing to do with what I expect from my family members. If Penelope has feelings for Tristan, that’s rightfully so. And good for you, girl.”

“I want Penelope to have those feelings and I don’t want to talk her out of them because I don’t want that kind of behavior to be something I validate or justify,” the Good American founder continued of her 11-year-old niece. “I want him to know that what he’s feeling is the right way to feel. We shouldn’t accept someone treating us like this.”

Kourtney isn’t the first sister to get involved in Khloé and Tristan’s complicated relationship. In an episode from early October, Kim Kardashian explained why she can’t completely cut Tristan out of her life.

“I know you’re going to hate me for this, and you’re going to hate us, and you’re going to think Khloé is whatever,” she said. “It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and such a good dad, but he just couldn’t pull himself together in that area to be a faithful boyfriend.”

The SKIMS founder continued: “Obviously you want to hate him for that. Yeah, sure, his actions and who he is are so fucked up, I can’t deny that, and we’ve talked and we’ve had our fights about it… but also showed so many decent things and was a really good person and friend.”

Kim then revealed that Tristan has not only proven to be a good father to her and Khloé’s two children, but also to her four children, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

“When he saw that I was struggling with my children, he stepped in,” she said. “He started showing up at games, picking them up, taking them out to dinner and he’ll always stand up for me, especially if it’s about things with me and my ex, and I’ve never forgotten that. I’m never really going to dump someone and act like I don’t feel like I can’t grow and develop.”

Khloé Kardashian is getting ready for Tristan Thompson to move on: ‘It’s going to sting a little’

During season four, Khloé spoke openly about managing her relationship with Tristan after his repeated infidelities. In the same episode where Kim opened up about her feelings for Tristan, Khloé also explained why she continues to defend the NBA player despite how he’s treated her in the past.

“I want my karma to always be great,” she said. “We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives because of our kids, so I’m not going to fight it and I’m going to make it as nice as possible.”

During last week’s episode, Khloé admitted to BFF Malika Haqq that she’s looking forward to the day she can move on with another man who won’t make her feel embarrassed by his past actions.

“I think I want to go out with people and see what’s out there,” she said. “I want to feel proud when I walk into a room and I’m with my man and I don’t think everyone’s laughing at me because I’m a weak bitch for staying with someone.”
