Kyle Chrisley Shares Emotional Father's Day Tribute for Todd Chrisley 'Even Though You Won't Talk to Me'

Kyle Chrisley doesn’t let his broken relationship with his father, Todd Chrisley, stop him from expressing his continued love for him.

This past Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16, Kyle, 32, shared a photo of Todd, 55, on his Instagram Stories holding him as a baby. The picture is accompanied by an emotional caption that talks about the current state of their relationship.

“Happy Father’s Day, Todd Chrisley,” the tribute began, according to a Reddit screenshot. “Even though you won’t talk to me… I miss your ‘good night, I love you son’ texts more than you know. If only things were different…”

Kyle and Todd have seen many ups and downs in their relationship over the years. Due to Kyle’s long-standing problems with substance abuse, he was only a regular guest on his family’s shows Chrisley knows best series in the first season. His struggles also resulted in Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, becoming legal guardians of his now 11-year-old daughter, Chloe Chirlsey.

Chloe, however, remained in the care of Kyle’s sister Savannah Chrisley – alongside brother Grayson Chrisley – while Todd and Julie, 51, serve prison terms for fraud and tax evasion. “My two oldest siblings are from my dad’s first marriage [with Teresa Terry]” Savannah explained. “Over the years, I feel like there’s been a lot of anger and resentment about the fact that my parents were together [and] theirs are not.”
