Graziano, 30, was sacked by the BBC in July after a video showed him punching Zara McDermott during training for last year’s series.

Kym said: “I’m reluctant to talk too much about other people’s experience. I had one of the best times of my life doing that show and it was amazing.

“I didn’t have any experiences like we heard. It definitely, definitely didn’t represent what I experienced, no.”

Asked if she was surprised to hear the accusations leveled at Graziano, Kym said: “Yes.”

Kym, who is currently appearing as Cruella de Vil in the musical 101 Dalmatians, added: “I will always have incredibly fond memories.”

The Sun revealed last month that footage from the training room showing Graziano’s behavior towards Zara left those who saw it in tears.

The Love Island star, 27, said the scenes were “incredibly disturbing”.

Over the weekend, Graziano said, “These vile, false allegations have ruined my life.” It comes after last year’s runner-up Bobby Brazier admitted that Strictly’s 12-hour days sometimes lead to “arguing”.
