Love Is Blind Alums Jessica Vestal, Micah Lussier and Izzy Zapata Set to Appear on Perfect Match Season 2

A perfect match season 2 is almost here, and several Love is blind alum will be heading to the villa!

During Love is blind season 6 reunion on Wednesday, co-hosted by Nick Lachey — who also hosts Perfect Matching — revealed that Jessica Vestal, Micah Lussier and Izzy Zapata will be competing for a second chance at love.

“I had a lot of fun being a part of the first season,” said Nick, 50, after confirming the cast’s involvement in the second season, which is set to premiere on Netflix this summer. “It’s really exciting to be a part of season two.”

As fans know, A perfect match brings together singles from Netflix’s most popular reality shows, including lap, Love is blind, Too hot to handle and Sexy beasts while looking for love.

While on the show, singles will “compete to form relationships” and “the most compatible couples will play matchmakers,” according to the official synopsis. Conductors can use their power to break up couples and send them on dates with singles they invite to a tropical villa, to create power couples or, if they wish, “create chaos”. At the end of the season, one couple is deemed the perfect match, winning an all-expense paid vacation anywhere of their choice.

The last season, which aired on February 14, 2023, ended with five couples reaching the finals: Chloe Veitch and Shayne Jansen, Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel, Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso, Izzy Fairthorne and Bartise Bowden, and Lauren ” LC Chamblin and Nick Uhlenhuth. Hassarati, 27, and Gabriel, 30, took home the “perfect match” crown, but the pair – like all the other couples from the show’s first season – are no longer together.

“There were so many different types of people and things to deal with, competition and having to come up with a strategy to stay in the house,” Too hot to handleFrancesca Farago told PEOPLE exclusively that she participated in the first season of the series. “It was stressful because you could go home any day. And it was stressful because you didn’t know who was going to come in and how your relationship was going to progress during the show. So, there was a lot that was very emotional. I feel like there was a lot of emotional things.”

The first season also ended with an engagement between Sasso, 30, and Snow, 28, and despite them no longer being together, Sasso said that “there will always be that love” between them.

“She is someone that I will always love, that I will always respect, and I know that we both speak highly of each other,” Sasso told PEOPLE about Snow. “At the end of the day, we got through this together. We had blood, sweat and tears. So there will always be that love between us, no matter what.”

Love is blind Season 6 Couples: Who Got Married and Who Said ‘I Don’t’

As for the confirmed cast this season, all three participants have had memorable journeys Love is blind.

Jess, 29, was shown in the final season developing a relationship with Jimmy Presnell in the pods. Despite being her number one choice, Jimmy eventually decided to propose to Chelsea Blackwell. Jess then left heartbroken.

Micah, 28, appeared in Season 4 when the show followed couples in Seattle. She and Paul Peden got engaged, but at the altar on their wedding day, Paul said no. The couple revealed at the season four reunion that they briefly got back together. However, things only lasted a few weeks before they broke up again.

Izzy, 31, got engaged to Stacy Snyder on Season 5 of the show and the two made it to their wedding day despite having a few relationship problems beforehand. After Izzy told her that at the altar, Stacy ditched him, citing their need for more time. At the Season 5 reunion, the couple confirmed that they tried to patch things up a week after their wedding, but ended up not speaking for a year. Now they remain on good terms.
