Love Is Blind Season 6 Couples: Who Got Married and Who Said ‘I Don’t’

Love is blind season 6 came to a dramatic end.

The reality dating show returned to Netflix on February 14, 2024 and introduced fans to 30 singles ready to find love. As usual, the first few episodes focus on potential couples getting to know each other without being able to see each other in the pods.

Love triangles are inevitable in a lineup like this, and this season was no exception. A total of five couples got engaged in capsules and then headed to the Dominican Republic for a romantic getaway.

Love is blind Couples Now: Who’s Still Together?

After returning home to Charlotte, North Carolina, in episodes 7 through 9 (airing Feb. 21), the engaged couples grappled with the realities of everyday life — and managed to reconnect with their pod exes.

As the couples’ wedding days approached, viewers wondered who would remain faithful. Tensions rose for some couples when episodes 10 and 11 premiered on February 28.

When the season ended on March 6, the remaining couples had to decide if they were marriage material or not. While several couples walked down the aisle, not everyone said “I do” at the altar.

Here are all the details on who got married Love is blind season 6 and who left pods single.

Who got married?

Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortes

In the capsules, Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortés immediately found a connection. They were each other’s number 1 choice from the start and immediately hit it off during a personal meeting.

After returning from the Dominican Republic, it was learned that the couple had not yet had sex because Amy was not on birth control. This led to a discussion where Johnny said that although he wanted to become a parent, he was worried about a potential unwanted pregnancy. Amy agreed that she wanted to wait “another five years” until she had children, but said that she and Johnny had to overcome this “hurdle” before getting married.

Johnny told PEOPLE that he felt like the conversation “kind of went in the wrong direction” in the episode and clarified that he “wanted to get to know Amy herself first and actually get to know her before we welcome the kids.”

Despite the initial tension after the engagement, Johnny and Amy were married during the finale Love is blind season 6. Their wedding was the least dramatic part of the episode, causing fans to celebrate the couple’s direct relationship.

Who said no at the altar?

Clay Gravesande and Amber Desiree “AD” Smith

After discovering that Matthew Duliba was saying the same thing to Amber Grant that he was saying to her, Amber Desiree “AD” Smith set her sights on Clay Gravesande. He was initially upset when he found out about AD’s relationship with Matthew, but eventually he proposed and she accepted.

In the Dominican Republic, Clay expressed concern about the commitment required in marriage, which worried AD. When meeting with her mother and sister, she claimed that he works too much and does not devote enough time to their relationship.

Later, Clay said he was worried about cheating in his potential marriage to AD. When it came time to decide their fate at the end of the aisle, Clay left AD heartbroken. After saying “I don’t know,” Clay told AD that it was a “game time decision.”

He added: “It’s irresponsible of me to say that at this time when I’m not ready to give you 100% and you wouldn’t want that.”

Who got engaged but broke up before the wedding?

Kenneth Gorham and Brittany Mills

One of the first couples to get engaged in pods, Kenneth Gorham and Brittany Mills are connected by their faith and shared desire to have a family. They had a live romantic discovery and enjoyed time together in the Dominican Republic, although the couple discussed an interracial relationship while Kenneth talked about the fact that he had never dated a white woman before.

Their relationship seemed to be stable, but things changed when the couple returned to North Carolina. After Brittany told Kenneth that she didn’t feel enough love from him, the couple decided that their physical attraction just wasn’t there.

They parted respectfully, but as Kenneth gathered his things to leave the apartment, Brittany remained crying on the sofa.

“Brittany and I had a phenomenal relationship. It was so real, so honest, so authentic, something I’ve never experienced on that level before,” Kenneth told PEOPLE. “At the time, we were less than a week away from our wedding. And so, I said to myself, ‘As much as I’d love to keep fighting for this thing, given where we are right now, there’s no way we could to the other to say yes.’ ”

Brittany added, “It might seem a little sudden to the eye, but I think for him and me, coming back after the Dominican and being in the home and trying to get back to the normal reality of what our day-to-day life is, it felt like we were drifting away a little bit. .. we came to the understanding that yes, we did see some changes after being in the capsules and then in the DR.”

Jimmy Presnell and Chelsea Blackwell

It hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for Jimmy and Chelsea, who have been at the center of love triangles this season. The pair had a strong bond in the groups, but each had another main contender on their minds. Jimmy ended up breaking up with Jessica Vestal to propose to Chelsea, who rejected Trevor Sova after his proposal.

Chelsea sparked an online discourse among fans after she told Jimmy she looked like Megan Fox while they were still in the pods. After their revelation, Jimmy said in the confessional that his fiancee “lied” about her looks but was still attracted to him.

In the Dominican Republic, Chelsea gets mad at Jimmy for making comments about AD’s body. Back in North Carolina, she confronted him about his lack of affection, and he accused her of being “clingy.” She also revealed that Jimmy had seen Jessica’s photo and worried that he had second thoughts about his choice, though he brushed off her concerns.

The drama continued for the couple when Jimmy went out with a group that included a woman he had previously had sex with and the couple had an argument over the situation. When it came time for their last date, Jimmy broke up with Chelsea. After confessing her love and saying she was ready to commit, her fiance said he couldn’t say yes.

“I love you to death, and I want a relationship with you, and I want us to work so bad. But I don’t want to go down the aisle,” Jimmy said.

Jeramey Lutinski and Laura Dadisman

Jeramey Lutinski dated Sarah Ann Bick and Laura Dadisman, but ended up proposing to the latter, who accepted. Their engagement started off strong, but Jeramey joked about touching AD’s breasts in the Dominican Republic, which caused tension.

As the season continued and the drama surrounding their former love triangle grew, Jeramey admitted that Sarah Ann had messaged him on Instagram, offering to hang out with him if things didn’t work out with him and Laura.

At the end of episode 9, Laura confronted Jeramey about coming home late and accused him of seeing Sarah Ann. Jeramey admitted he was with her on the group trip, but denied doing anything physical. The episode ended with Laura storming off and saying, “I want out.”

Later, at a lakeside party, Jeramey confirmed that his relationship with Laura was over and spent some time with Sarah Ann.

Who left the pods alone?

Jessica Vestal

Jessica had hoped to leave the pods with Jimmy and was heartbroken when he proposed to Chelsea instead. In North Carolina, Jessica met with Laura and said she wanted to see Jimmy.

Later, Jessica and Jimmy met for the first time at a lake party and discussed their former relationship. Despite Jessica’s initial desire to reunite with Jimmy, nothing worked out of the moment.

Trevor Owl

Trevor planned to propose to Chelsea in the pods, but Jimmy popped the question before he had a chance, and she accepted. Trevor later told PEOPLE that he felt like it “could have gone either way” if his date with Chelsea had been first.

“I’ve never connected with a girl the way I connected with her, so I was amazed that she felt she had a better connection with someone else,” Trevor said. “But I’m very proud of myself for how I handled that situation.”

Chelsea and Trevor met at an all-cast lake party and talked about the moment their relationship ended. Trevor asked Chelsea to explain why she didn’t choose him and the pair had a short, tense discussion about his heartbreak.

Matthew struggled with vulnerability in the pods, but eventually formed relationships with AD and Amber G. When he was caught telling both women that they were his #1, he left the pods.

Despite the drama, AD told PEOPLE that there was no bad blood between her and Matthew and that they talked after his betrayal.

“I’ve had a few conversations with Matthew,” she said. “It went well. Matthew has a very interesting way of getting his point across. And so, I didn’t force it, I didn’t get anything out of him. He said what he wanted to say, and we talked, and we moved on.”

Sarah Ann Bick

Sarah Ann left the pods alone after Jeramey broke up with her to propose to Laura. She later told AD that Jeramey claimed he was “breaking it off” with Laura.

The love triangle continued when Sarah Ann and Jeramey reunited at a lakeside party and took a ride on jet skis, a moment fans criticized as painful for his ex Laura.

Amber Grant

Amber G. on ‘Love is blind’.

Amber formed a relationship with Matthew, but after discovering that he had been dishonest with her and AD, she decided to leave the pods.

Before leaving, she had a tearful conversation with the AD in which she said the friendships she made with other women were “the best part” of her experience at Love is blind.
