The model, 31, who was not at Wembley last night as Walker started on the bench for England against Greece, has vowed to stick it out. She wants half of his £27 million fortune.
Friends said the Manchester City captain, 34, had spent weeks trying to convince her not to end their marriage.
Sources said no final decision had been made yet, but that divorce discussions were “actively” underway.
One said: “Annie is ready to go through with it.
“She is not messing around and has spoken to lawyers about what the future looks like.
“Divorce has been an ever-present threat all year, but things are starting to fall into place.
“She doesn’t have to go through it, of course, but it’s always there as an option.”
Annie was left upset after the defense attorney was exposed as the father of a second child with ex-lover Lauryn Goodman.
The couple, who have four children, split on Christmas Day after influencer Lauryn revealed the truth in a text message – and have been fighting to save their relationship ever since.
Kyle and Annie met in Sheffield as teenagers and married in 2021 — despite repeated sex scandals following his £50m move to City from Spurs in 2017.

Annie, who was heavily pregnant with her and Kyle’s fourth child at the time, announced their latest split after finding out.
She demanded half of his fortune as part of a “financial divorce” to secure her future and the children’s.
A spokeswoman for Kyle and Annie declined to comment.
