MAFS: Chloe Struggles with Her Sexual Attraction to Michael Due to His ‘Fashion-Forward Personality’ (Exclusive)

Married at first sight Michael’s sense of style may be too much for his new wife Chloe.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek of this week’s episode of the Lifetime series, Chloe tells co-stars Lauren, Clare and Emily that his fashion choices are “fun to watch” before admitting they bother her.

“I really enjoyed watching him,” she says. “That’s something he didn’t even tell me [the skirt] was coming. He was like, ready to go on retreat, and I was like, ‘Oh, like, great. I love it for you.’”

“But when it comes to sex appeal, having that flair and that really fashion-forward personality was a challenge for me, which is hard,” she adds.

Lauren encourages her to talk to him about the problem, saying, “I know in all my relationships I just like to say ‘You know what?’ I think I’m upset right now. I don’t know what’s going on. But this really moves me.'”

“I like how you said that,” Chloe replies. “You don’t know what’s going to move you until you’re in the moment. You mean, it turns me on, how can I tell him that it turns me on?”

In last week’s episode, Chloe admitted that her husband surprised her by trying on a large pearl necklace.

“Before I was a married woman, I had never romantically entertained a man who leaned into his feminine side,” she said. “I’m definitely not sure how I feel about it yet. I’m taking it one day at a time.”

But that wasn’t the only surprise waiting for Chloe. When the couple arrived at Michael’s apartment, he showed off his collection of skirts.

“I never in a million years thought I’d be married to a man who has more skirts than me. It just takes it to the next level,” Chloe admitted.

After peeking into each other’s closets, Pastor Calvin Roberson asked Chloe what she thought of Michael’s fashion sense.

“It’s just, he’s vastly different than any other man I’ve ever been in a relationship with, dated, or interacted with romantically in any way, shape, or form, honestly,” she explained. “And so, a man who’s so into his feminine side, it’s just new territory for me to navigate… It just takes time.”

Despite their differences, Chloe seemed willing to give their relationship a shot.

“What you gave me is a man I would never have chosen for myself, honestly,” she said. “We’re not two people who meet when I say, ‘I’d pick you at a bar,’ and honestly, I’ve been looking for that man who has a heart of gold and that’s the man you gave me.
