Mamie Laverock is back home from the hospital.

The milestone was shared on her official Facebook page on Monday, August 19. The news comes three months after When the heart calls the actress, 20, fell from a fifth-floor balcony in May.

“Dreams do come true. Welcome Home Mamie,” the caption read alongside a photo of a handmade ‘Home Sweet Home’ sign featuring a picture of Laverock.

The sign was placed below a pink ribbon sign, along with a photo of a table decorated with a purple tablecloth, a rainbow and daisy balloon arch and a rainbow cake with white frosting and multi-colored candles.

“She is still seriously injured, but we will take care of her privately,” their Facebook page responded to one of the comments on the post. “She had to be at home. So happy for her. She made it this far… the next chapter. It’s a blessing to have her home.”

“Thank you surgeon, thank you prayers, thank you Lord. Mamie just took her first steps,” the caption read. In the video, Laverock was flanked by two medical staff as she sat on a hospital bed wearing air bandages on each leg while surrounded by her family.

Staff then wheeled Laverock’s walker in front of her and she stood up to loud cheers from her loved ones. The star went on to admit that the feeling was “very strange” and that she felt “very wobbly”, but soon took a few steps with her walker.

“Oh my God, the feet, they’re moving. They’re moving their legs,” someone behind the camera can be heard saying.

Laverock remained in a critical condition after falling five stories from a balcony walkway on May 26.

Details of Laverock’s fall were then published in an update to the site later that month.

“It is with great sadness that we report that on May 26, Mamie, who has been in intensive care for the past two weeks, was escorted from the secure ward of the hospital and taken to the balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,” read an update from her mother, father John Laverock and Rob Compton’s stepfather.
