She is known for playing the role of Yasmin Khan in the science fiction television show Doctor Who from 2018 to 2022. In 2016, she appeared in two other television sitcoms, Cuckoo and Doctors, playing the roles of Lauren and Shazia Amin respectively.

Mandip Kaur Gill was born on Tuesday, January 5, 1988 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England (34 years old; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Capricorn. - During the interview, she revealed that, for a brief period of time, she thought about becoming a police officer; however, she gave up on the idea because, according to her, she did not have the skills required to become a police officer.
