Margaret Qualley always knew she was going to marry Jack Antonoff!
In a new interview with ELLE UKthe Maidservant actress, 29, revealed she knew her husband Antonoff, 39, was the one after falling for him “instantly” shortly after they first met.
“I met Jack probably two weeks ago, but I fell head over heels in love immediately,” April cover star Qualley told the publication. “I had a sure, conscious feeling that he was my husband.”
Qualley, who is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, was so confident about her relationship with Antonoff that she previously sent a request for a wedding dress to Chanel’s creative director, Virginie Viard, she shared.

“I was talking about Jack and I said to her, ‘I think I’ve just met the man I’m going to marry. And, Virginie, if I’m right, will you make me a wedding dress?’ “the Drive the puppets away the star told the publication. “I said, ‘Give me two years…'”
Qualley and Antonoff married in New Jersey on August 19, 2023. The couple first sparked dating rumors after they were seen kissing in August 2021. A source confirmed the couple’s engagement to PEOPLE in May 2022, which Qualley later announced in deleted post on Instagram.
Speaking about their newlywed life, Qualley shared that “there hasn’t been a drastic change” in the dynamic between her and Antonoff. “I think we kind of functioned as a married couple from the beginning, so it wasn’t a drastic change, but I really like security,” the actress said. ELLE UK. “It would be difficult for him to separate from me. I’m glad the law is included.”

Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley have a newlywed date at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Qualley revealed that she “always wanted to get married,” although a big wedding wasn’t necessarily in the cards.
“I was a girl who would walk with my sister and fantasize about our weddings or what our husbands would be like. But I don’t think I would have had such a big wedding if it hadn’t been for Jack,” she told the publication.
“I wanted it to be big with him. It was, in a way, Jack needs a big wedding. And it seemed like it was going to be more fun,” Qualley continued. “He has so many great friends and a great family. I think [weddings] are almost as much for your family and your friends as they are for you. It was sweet and special and simply the most magical day of my life.”

Talking further about her wedding, the Poor people the star also explained her unusual choice of bridal footwear in white Chanel raincoats for her wedding.

“The after party was in this bar. And I don’t think the dance floor was very clean because the shoes were ruined. But I like the way they look,” Qualley said. “I mean, we almost did an Amy Winehouse piece on them.”
“I am reminded of that now; those amazing battered ballet flats she would walk around in. But mine are only from one dance night,” she added.
