Mark Consuelos was taken aback LIVE with Kelly and Markaudience participation on Tuesday, May 28.
Consuelos, 53, and Kelly Ripa cheekily welcomed audience participation during the latest installment of the daytime talk show.
At the start of the episode, the married co-hosts discussed enjoying a sunny holiday weekend in New York. According to Page Six TikTok, Consuelos asked executive producer Michael Gelman, “I guess the weather was good here, Michael? It turned out great?”
But soon an unidentified member of the audience shouted: “Not yesterday!” With the couple replying in unison, “Not yesterday.”
Ripa, 53, added: “No, we know. We flew home yesterday”, but then Consuelos interrupted her and jokingly invited the audience.
“We have some speakers today,” he said, as the crowd burst into laughter.
“Yeah, it’s participatory,” Ripa chirped, with Consuelos jokingly adding, “Somewhat.”
Ripa then continued the conversation and asked her co-host to give her a “weather update.”

Kelly Ripa Says She and Mark Consuelos ‘Regretted’ Buying Their First Home Together: ‘Buyer’s Remorse’
On May 1, the couple celebrated 28 years of marriage. During that day’s episode, they exchanged “Happy Anniversary” wishes while noting the time that had passed.
“I was in bed last night trying to do the math,” Consuelos said. “My benchmark for a long time is to get through first grade to high school graduation. Twelve years is a long time. Like, when you’re a kid, that’s a lifetime. It’s like doing it twice plus a Ph.D. Plus four years of college and master’s program!”
“Shall I call you Doctor Consuelos?” Ripa joked before Consuelos teased that he “maybe do a house call later.”

As the conversation continued, they shared their goals for the future, with Consuelos saying he wanted to, “Continue where we started,” adding, “And by that, I mean take all the kids off the payroll.”
“We’re so close,” Ripa remarked of their three grown children: Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21. “We can taste it! We can taste financial freedom. It’s not like we’re not thankful for three beautiful children that we love and adore. ”
