Every year when September finally arrives, I am the happiest. That means cooler weather is on the horizon, and with it fall fashion — or my all-time favorite wardrobe staple to style.

Most of my time as a shopping writer is spent scouring the internet for the best deals and new products. I’m well versed in all the current trends, and as a fashion expert, I can safely say that Walmart’s latest fall fashion drop is one of the best yet. The retailer has added more than 1,000 new styles for the upcoming season to its exclusive brands, including Scoop, Time and True, Free Assembly and No Boundaries, such as denim dresses, knit sweaters, boots and more.

On the East Coast, thicker sweaters won’t be acceptable until mid-to-late September, when temperatures are much cooler. In the meantime, I plan to pair a lightweight option like this ribbed knit top from Scoop with pants and midi skirts.
