A MASSIVE fireball explosion near Arena 02 was caused by a convicted pedophile who blew up a BBC truck while filming a goal on his film set.
Sex offender Jacky Jahj, 38, filled an old BBC lorry with a Union Jack and strewn the vehicles with explosives in a pre-planned blast and filmed as the fire raged out of control.

Hundreds of calls were made to the emergency services on Saturday, and many locals fear a terrorist attack.
Panicked residents captured the inferno on video from miles around as it sent flames and black smoke into the London sky.
Disgraced director and actor Jahj was sentenced to four years in prison in 2016 after being found guilty of four counts of sexual activity with two 15-year-old girls after posing as a film producer.
Around 70 crew members have already left his latest production dubbed ‘The Dover Project’ after the shocking stunt.
A worker on the set described how police vehicles and a BBC truck were loaded with “explosives” that spread fear in communities across east London a week later.
The terrifying explosion was caused by the use of gunpowder and a detonating cord, which lifted the roof of a police van 50ft into the air in an open yard in Silvertown, Newham.
One video posted on Reddit shows a naked Jhaj casually strolling nearby as firefighters battle the burning flames.
Explosions were heard on both sides of the Thames near Canning Town on Saturday when three loud blasts shocked residents.
Locals living near last night’s blast were furious as they compared the blast to a “bomb explosion” and an “earthquake”.
Residents were not alerted to the stunts of the film production, apart from a post on the Greenwich Borough’s official Facebook page.
The shock of the blasts resulted in over 90 calls to emergency services and London City Airport suspended operations for the evening.
A photo shared by an employee with The Sun shows a BBC World News 18-wheeler with debris believed to be from the explosion in front of it.
Two police vehicles and a drone flying above were also spotted around the truck.
The whole scene unfolded outside the O2 in Canary Wharf on Saturday.
One video of the fire showed it burning before erupting in a bright orange explosion.
The person filming reacts to the explosion by saying, “Oh my, my, what did I just watch?”
“I thought it was fireworks, bruh.”
The fire caused widespread confusion as the Royal Borough of Greenwich Council warned residents there would be a “loud explosion” during filming on August 24.
However, police have ruled out further investigations into the explosion, MailOnline reports.
Metohija police previously said in a statement that they were aware of reports of explosions, but that “there was no danger to the public.”
The force said: “The Met was aware of pre-planned filming, including the use of explosives, prior to the event which took place on the evening of Saturday 31 August.
“It appears that this information was not disseminated as widely as it should have been and we are looking at the systems currently in place to determine why this was the case in this case.”
London Fire Brigade said it “tackled” the blaze with four fire engines and 25 firefighters deployed to bring it “under control”.
The press release stated: “One van was destroyed by fire, and most cars and trucks were damaged by fire.
“There are currently no reports of injuries.”
One witness said they heard “absolutely huge and very loud explosions” next to their apartment and that a shipping container was on fire.
The corporation filmed near the site last weekend which included a “loud explosion”, the Royal Borough of Greenwich said.
The BBC said it was not involved in the event, a spokesman said: “There is no involvement of BBC News in the events of this evening in the docks.”
