Squishmallow Happy Meal toys come in classic characters and one surprise mystery plush
McDonald’s customers around the world were awarded Squishmallow Happy Meal toy points. Now, fans in the US can get their hands on the toys for a limited time.
Starting December 26, the fast food chain will be giving away 12 types of Squishmallows with the purchase of a Happy Meal.
McDonald’s has partnered with Jazwares and Universal Music Group to add one of 12 Squishmallows to every kid’s meal. The line-up includes classic Squishmallow characters, such as Cam and Fifi, and a special toy specific to McDonald’s: Grimace. There’s also a “surprising mystery character” for fans to discover, according to the company.
The plushies will be available nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.

Earlier this year, there were two dozen “exclusive and seasonally themed” Squishmallows at participating McDonald’s in over 70 countries worldwide.
Now, every Squishmallow in the US will be interactive with an attached QR code that you can scan to listen to exclusive music playlists based on the characters’ personalities.
McDonald’s doesn’t just hand out trendy toys. In a blast from the past, the chain has brought back McNugget Buddies: nostalgic Happy Meal collectibles.

McDonald’s is bringing back McNugget Buddies after more than 25 years.
McDonalds X Kerwin Frost
Retaliation for the toys comes after more than 25 years of absence from the market. Six different McNugget Buddy collectibles, each with a different outfit and background, came in collaboration with New York-based artist Kerwin Frost. Frost helped redesign the mascots and created a custom meal for fans.
The new friends are inspired by Frost’s childhood in Harlem, and one of the toys is a miniature version of the DJ, aptly named Kerwin Frost and adorned with a matching facial tattoo. Other McNugget friends are Don Bernice, Uptown Moe, Waffutu, BRRRICK and Darla. Each toy is decorated with interchangeable clothes.
The matching meal, Kerwin Frost Box, includes one McNugget Buddy, fries, soft drink and your choice of 10 McNuggets or a Big Mac.
