Welcome to The Blueprint, where we take apart the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and recreate them, piece by piece.
If, like me, you’re currently at a loss for what to wear during the transition weeks between summer and fall, look no further than Meghan Markle’s latest outfit.
Over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex attended a debate in Cali, Colombia, alongside Prince Harry, wearing a simply elegant ensemble that I can’t wait to copy. To top it off, Meghan wore a polished white collared top – reminiscent of the classy blouses we’ve seen on stars like Joanna Gaines and Jennifer Lopez this year – styled with a sequined floral midi skirt and hot pink pointy heels.

While her outfit is definitely fall-appropriate, her bright colors and floral patterns make it easy for late summer, too. We’ve rounded up pieces inspired by Meghan’s diverse eye at Amazon, Nordstrom, Anthropologie and more, with prices starting at $19.

Anthropologie Tilda Slip Skirt
Anthropologie
$98 at Anthropologie
I’m only adding pieces to my wardrobe right now that work for both late summer and fall — and this skirt from Anthropologie more than fits the bill. While its style and floral pattern look similar to Meghan’s skirt, its satin material (as opposed to the Duchess’s sequins) is much better for everyday wear. Plus, it comes in nine colors and patterns, if you want to join the reviewers in asking for “more colors.”
“I love this skirt,” wrote one customer. “It goes beautifully with loafers, heels and my most worn choice, sneakers. It’s super stretchy and so very comfortable.”
Zeagoo button-down sleeveless shirt
Amazon
Orig. $24 $22 on Amazon
This collared sleeveless shirt looks almost identical to Meghan’s and is currently on sale for $22. The blouse received high praise from customers who noted its “elegant” silhouette, “extraordinarily soft” touch and “feather-light” in their reviews. Wear it on its own with jeans or a skirt while the temperatures are still warm, then layer it under a sweater or sweats, like I plan to for fall.
“This is a wardrobe staple and can be dressed up or down,” said one reviewer. “The material is light but strong enough to be worn with or without a shirt.”
Vivaia ballet flats with pointed toes
Vivaia
$97 at Vivaia.com
Meghan isn’t the only A-lister currently reaching for pink details: Reese Witherspoon also tapped into the vibrant shoe trend while stepping out in New York. Channel their look by grabbing these hot pink pointed toe shoes from Vivaia with over 3,600 perfect ratings. Their ankle padding and yoga mat midsole make them much easier to walk in than the Duchess’s pointy-toe shoes, and one reviewer even said they felt like they were “wearing sneakers.”
