The Telegraph yesterday revealed the footage from 2021 that saw him sacked by the Met Police.
Mr Malik was chairman of the London Muslim Community Forum, which is described on a dedicated page on the Met’s website as a “strategic advisory body to the Met”.
In a statement, a police spokesman said: “A video shared by the Telegraph today has brought to our attention that the chairman of the London Muslim Community Forum has expressed views in a way that is inconsistent with the values of the Met.
“We regularly work with a whole range of social groups, many of which have strongly opposing views.
“It’s important that we continue to listen to opposing views. This is how we put community voices at the heart of policing in London.
“This case has highlighted past language and attitudes expressed by Attiq Malik that appear to be anti-Semitic and contrary to our values.
“As a result, we will immediately end our relationship with Mr. Malik while we investigate.”
The lawyer appeared in the pilot episode of the Channel 4 TV show 24 Hours in Police Custody.
He has also appeared on shows such as Good Morning Britain as a legal expert.
A video uncovered by The Telegraph shows Malik addressing a protest in Luton in May 2021.
Mr Malik said: “We go to the BBC, ITV, do we see any of this? No, we don’t… You watch Sky News, do we see this?
“No. Even on social networks, we see posts growing on Insta, Linkedin, Facebook, being deleted.
“What is happening is global censorship by the Zionists, global censorship to silence us.”
He ended his speech by encouraging chants of “from the river to the sea”, while others responded with “Palestine will be free”.
The song “from the river to the sea” is very controversial because it effectively promotes the destruction of the entire Jewish state of Israel.
