Mia Farrow remembers late ex-husband Frank Sinatra on his birthday.
On Tuesday, Farrow, 78, shared a photo of Sinatra, who died in 1998 at the age of 82, on her Instagram to celebrate the singer and actor’s 107th birthday.
“I bet he has those choirs of angels singing some great new songs! This was the first photo I took with the Rolleiflex camera he bought us,” Farrow wrote of the photo. “He taught me how to use it.”
“Happy Heavenly Birthday CB. I will always love you,” she added, adding an additional parenthetical note that read: “only close friends know this, but I called him ‘Charlie’ – Charlie Brown in full.”
Farrow and Sinatra were married from 1966 to 1968; the marriage was Farrow’s first and Sinatra’s fourth. He later married Barbara Marx in 1976 and remained with her until his death, while Farrow later married composer André Previn and was in a relationship with Woody Allen.

Farrow and Sinatra continued their relationship over the years even through other relationships, with Farrow saying in 2013 that it was possible that her son Ronan Farrow, 35, was Sinatra’s child, although this was never confirmed.
The actress shared two more Instagram posts with Sinatra at the “New York, New York” singer’s birthday celebration. Both posts included pictures of a dog the couple shared named Eliza; Farrow wrote in one caption that Elizabeth Taylor gave her and Sinatra a dog during their marriage.

“After our divorce he had custody of her (I moved to England) but he kept me updated regularly. He sent me this photo,” Farrow wrote of one image showing Eliza resting on Sinatra’s shoulder.
Sinatra appeared to sign the photo as “Charlie Brown,” and Farrow added to her caption, “I called him Charlie because he could make a wonderful face like Charlie Brown.”

“Frank had a beautiful golden lab named Ringo. But outside, Eliza the dog would come to his shoots — and watch ball games next to him,” she shared of Sinatra’s relationship with the dog in a separate post. – They were inseparable.
Farrow has shared pictures of Sinatra on Instagram in recent years to celebrate his birthday. “I hope it’s somewhere wonderful where every day is the happiest birthday,” she wrote in a 2021 birthday tribute.
