Boxing legend Mike Tyson is just hours away from his match against social media personality Jake Paul, and as the former heavyweight champion prepares for the fight, he plans to honor his daughter in a special way.
On Friday, November 15, Tyson (58) and Paul (27) will face off in a highly anticipated match at Texas’ AT&T Stadium. For the big moment — and his first bout since 2020 — Tyson plans to wear black boxer shorts with his late daughter’s name, Exodus Sierra Tyson, stitched on the bottom front corner in white letters, according to USA Today.
According to BYLT Basics, the company Tyson partnered with for the match, the trunks were designed specifically to honor the memory of Exodus, company spokesman Robert Pursell said, according to the media release.

In May 2009, Exodus, then 4, was found unconscious by her brother Miguel, then 7, after she got tangled in a rope on a treadmill. After that, she died from her injuries.
Five months later, in October 2009, Tyson admitted to Oprah Winfrey that he did not want to know the details of his daughter’s death.

“Because if I know, then it could be the fault. And if there is someone to blame for it, there will be problems,” Tyson said at the time.
Earlier this week, on Wednesday, November 13, Tyson said that Paul should prepare for what will happen to him in the ring.

“I am bringing the devil himself [to the ring]Tyson told ESPN. “There are no feelings.”
Tyson continued, “My own mother should be very careful if she has to step into the ring with me. When it’s done, it’s done. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions or is in trouble,” he said, the paper reports.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will air globally on Netflix on November 15th at 8:00 PM ET.
