Minnie Driver has the best nurse in partner Addison O’Dea!
The actress, 54, marked her sixth anniversary with her beau in an Instagram post on Sunday, November 17, revealing that he was helping her survive a “terrible flu”.
“He’s been sticking thermometers in my ear and setting med timers and sticking his head around my neck and writing me cards and making me food I can’t eat all day long. ♥️,” Driver wrote in her caption, shown alongside two photos of the couple.
She also added the hashtags “#love” and “#happyanniversary,” tagging O’Dea at the end.

Minnie Driver shared the memory of her first date with Addison O’Dea: ‘You made me laugh so hard I cracked’
O’Dea, 45, dedicated his own Instagram tribute Good Will Hunting actress, posting a heartfelt caption alongside a carousel of photos of the couple.
“When I met @driverminnie I don’t think I wore shoes in years. Now sometimes, ok rarely, I look like this!” he joked, referring to a photo of the couple dressed together one year in Vanity Fair Oscar party.
The writer-director continued of Driver: “She’s a charmer. But it’s not just a facade, I’ve really grown up a lot (though @turnbull_asser helps convey maturity). We go on adventures together, share a brilliant scoundrel, have a demented dog and still wear flip-flops in almost everything.”
“For this, as I have discovered, is true love: I don’t want her to ever be ‘more like me’ and she doesn’t expect me to be ‘more like her’ — all we expect is for each other to be ourselves and show love, grace, respect and patience,” added O’Dea.
He concluded: “Happy anniversary Minnie, I love you just the way you are.”

Minnie Driver confirms romance with Addison O’Dea at Emmy Afterparty
After meeting years earlier at a breakfast party, Driver and O’Dea became friends when he helped her deliver supplies during the Malibu, California wildfires in 2018. And the two immediately shared an “epic connection,” Driver said. to PEOPLE in July.
“I could see what an amazing person he was from the moment I met him,” said the Oscar nominee.
Driver and O’Dea marked their “first official date” with an appearance at Chanel’s 2019 pre-Oscar night, which the actress shared on Instagram in November 2023 in honor of their five-year anniversary.
Driver — who has been romantically linked to Harrison Ford and Matt Damon — said her relationship with O’Dea remains unique and special, in part because of his extraordinary qualities.
“He has no ulterior motive,” she said in July. “There’s no double entendre in the way he talks – it’s what he means. I trust him with all my heart.”
