Miranda Sings, real name Colleen Ballinger, will guest star in episode 3 of the first season of ABC’s Generation Gap on July 21, 2022 at 9:00 PM ET. Following is the synopsis for the upcoming episode:

Family members are shown working together to answer questions about each other’s generations in the comedy quiz game programme. Milo Manham made a cameo appearance in the latest episode of Generation Gap.

Colleen Ballinger is an actress, singer and YouTube personality best known for her role as Miranda Sings, a fictional character she invented in 2008. She is one of the most popular online stars, active on YouTube for almost a decade. Despite being a skilled singer, she stars as Miranda Sings as an untalented lady who feels she is destined to become a star.
Miranda Sings is known for her drawn red lips, narcissism, speaking with an accent, addressing her “haters” and singing badly with a voice that is out of tune and rhythm. She is known for sometimes expressing politically incorrect and offensive views. A person was inspired by real ladies in her vocal performance college as well as a number of YouTube videos of less talented individuals. It’s a spoof of the many narcissistic singers on the popular streaming site who record themselves singing while receiving reviews.
In February 2008, Ballinger posted her fictitious persona’s first video, a version of Aretha Franklin’s Respect, on her Miranda Sings YouTube account, and she “never dreamed anyone would ever see it.” In fact, she was “quite surprised” when the films went viral in 2009. The channel now has 10.8 million subscribers.
Trent, Rachel and Chris Ballinger, her three siblings, raised her in Santa Barbara, California. As a child, she wanted to be a model, but instead studied vocals at Azusa Pacific University in California to pursue her passion for singing and performing. She was often bullied at school. Her grandfather, who passed away in 2011, was “encouraged” by her interest. Ballinger was previously married to YouTuber Joshua Evans, but the couple divorced in 2016. In 2018, she married Haters Back Off co-star Erik Stocklin and gave birth to their son, Flynn Timothy Stocklin. She gave birth to twins Maisy Joanne and Wesley Koy Stocklin in 2021.
In her 14 years of popularity, Miranda Sings has had her own Netflix series (Haters Back Off), performed on Broadway, been featured on several late-night talk shows, and written two books, Self-Helf (2015) and My Diarrhea (2018). . ), all written from her point of view.
