Stockelman is serving a life sentence after admitting to the 2005 kidnapping, rape and brutal murder of Katlyn “Katie” Collman in Indiana.
Her body was found in a creek 15 miles from her home in Indianapolis five days after she disappeared.
Unfortunately for him, Stockelman was sent to the same prison as Katie’s cousin, Jarred Harris.
It was at the Wabash Valley Correction Facility where Harris waited in the cell of an evil killer so he could get his revenge.
At the time, prison officials would not confirm how Stockelman was tattooed, but said an inmate had been identified as a suspect.
Two prison guards were also fired at the time for “unauthorized copying of an evidentiary photograph”.
According to Express US, Harris was jailed for burglary.
A permanent act of revenge landed Harris charged with battery after tattooing ‘Katie’s Revenge’ in large letters on Stockelman’s head.
THE KATIE COLLMAN CASE
Another man, Charles Hickman, was originally charged with the young girl’s murder.
He told police that Katie witnessed some drug activity and he dragged her into his trailer.
The father of murdered girl Elizabeth Collins thinks the police know the killer but has no evidence and hopes the new doctor will ‘solve something’
He then claimed that he wanted to scare her into silence and took her to a stream in the middle of the night.
He said she accidentally drowned and he fled the scene.
However, inconsistencies in his confession and DNA evidence from a discarded cigarette proved that father-of-three Stockelman was guilty.
Stockelman eventually took a plea deal to serve a life sentence, allowing him to avoid the death penalty.
He got an extra 30 years for abusing Katie.
At the time, many people in the area were reportedly disappointed that he was not sentenced to death.
Local resident Marsha Fink reportedly said, “I’d rather see him get the death penalty for what he did to the little girl, but at least he’ll be punished.”
