On December 7, 2014, the first anniversary of Vinay Apte’s death, Barve wrote an article for the Marathi daily Loksatta revisiting Apte’s memories. In 2017, she made her debut as an RJ on The Mukta Barve Show, a women-centric show that focused on the issues faced by women.
