Nathan Osmond Jokes His Family Gatherings Require a Stadium Rental: ‘I Think There’s 57 Grandkids’ (Exclusive)

Nathan Osmond gives an insight into what his exponentially large family gatherings look like.

“Renting a stadium,” the 46-year-old country artist, son of Alan Osmond, jokes to PEOPLE while out at Media.com’s “Power of Reputation” panel at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

The nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond — and their seven brothers — he is one of eight boys. “I think there’s about 57 grandkids. I have four boys, too. Scotty has five boys. Jay has three boys. I think there’s only 17 girls and a few are adopted.”

“So you literally have to adopt girls to bring them into the Osmond family. We just don’t produce them,” teases Nathan.

“The Tailgate Song” singer’s uncle Donny, 66, has 14 grandchildren of his five children, and Marie, 64, who raised eight children, has eight grandchildren.

The Osmonds, consisting of Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay and later Donny, rose to fame in the 1970s with hits such as “One Bad Apple” and “Down by the Lazy River”.

In 1976, Donny, now 66, and Marie, 64, started their own act separately from their brothers via a variety show of the same name called Donny & Marie.

“The Osmond family makes up half of the state of Utah, so you’re bound to run into one of us when you come here for the Sundance Film Festival. But we love Utah. Utah has always been home. We’re so grateful Robert Redford brought Hollywood to Utah,” he added. is.

Singer Nathan Osmond Says It Was Fun To Follow In Donny And Marie’s Footsteps (Exclusive)

A proud “second generation” Osmond, Nathan followed in his Aunt Marie’s footsteps and took over the country music charts in the last decade with a string of No. 1 hits. 1.
