Naveen Kasturia was born on Saturday, January 26, 1985, in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria (37 years; as of 2022). When he was one year old, his family moved to Delhi from Nigeria. His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He studied at Birla Vidya Niketan School in Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. He then pursued his bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi. He performed and wrote plays while in college. One of his plays, Lo Kr Lo Ji Baat, was very popular in his college.

Naveen and I were filming a series where this couple fell madly in love and tried their best to get married, and during the filming we became very good friends. In 2006, after completing engineering, he started working as a financial analyst with Inductis, a private company in Gurgaon. He worked there for nearly two years. He then applied for a job at Mumbai-based financial services firm JPMorgan Chase. He said in an interview that before moving to Mumbai, his father advised him that he must get a corporate job in Mumbai before pursuing a career as a film director.

While he was working at JP Morgan in Mumbai, he met someone who gave him the contact numbers of some Indian film studios, and he later met several film directors. Later, Naveen received an offer from Vishesh Films, who asked him to join them as an assistant director for the Hindi film Jashnn (2009).
