NEET PG 2023 Revised Cutoff
NEET PG 2023: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Policy has reduced the NEET PG cutoff to zero in all categories. According to the latest updates, the Union Health Ministry has directed the NMC to reduce the cutoff to zero so that the remaining candidates can participate in the NEET PG 2023 counseling rounds.
Several medical associations have demanded a reduction in the cutoff for NEET PG 2023. FORDA wrote to the Health Minister: “By reducing the cutoff, we can ensure that more qualified candidates are given the opportunity to fill vacancies, thereby preventing wastage of valuable resources and infrastructure.”
Medical associations such as the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the United Doctors’ Front Association (UDFA) have urged the NMC to lower the qualification cutoff for the NEET PG 2023 exam to allow more candidates to participate in the counseling process.

The Federation of Specialist Physician Associations (FORDA) tweeted: “As promised, the good news has arrived! NEET PG Cut-off 2023 Reduction Notification
The notification said, “I am directed to refer to the above subject and to say that the recommendation to reduce the qualifying percentile for Post Graduate Courses 2023 (NEET PG 2023) has been considered in the ministry. The approval of the competent authority to reduce the qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 to ‘zero’ in all categories is hereby conveyed.”

The NEET PG section has been released along with the result on 14th March 2023 separately for each category. The cut-off value is the minimum qualifying mark that a candidate must achieve in order to qualify for the exam. As of now the cutoff is reduced to zero, I can check the earlier published NEET PG cutoff:

NEET PG Counseling 2023
As of now, MCC is conducting the 3rd round of NEET counseling for admission to MD/MS/PG degree courses in India. The NEET PG seat allotment result was supposed to be declared on 16th September 2023, but it has been postponed due to constant demands to reduce the cutoff. However, now that it has been reduced, the seat allotment list for NEET PG Round 3 is expected to be released soon.
