NExT 2024: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has announced that the National Exit Exam (NExT) will be held from 2024. NEXT 2024: What are the important highlights

NExT 2024 participants can check out the important exam-related highlights below:

  2. NExT – 1 will be conducted in May 2024 for the 2019 series

NEXT 2024: About the exam

The National Exit Examination (NExT) will be conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses. It is a mandatory licensing exam for undergraduate medical students to practice in India. MBBS qualified applicants from India or abroad will have to pass an exam to register with the Medical Council of India. The exam will be computer-based twice a year: in May and November.

MBBS 2019 students will be the first batch to qualify for the NMC NExT exam. The exam will be held in two steps – Steps 1 and 2. In total there will be 6 subjects in Step 1 and 7 in Step 2 for NExT MBBS. No clarity was provided regarding the initiation of the test. NExT mock test and sample exam

According to the information shared by NMC, the mock test will be available on July 28. Registration for the NExT Practice/Practice Test will begin on July 28.
