In 2014, she became the winner of the show “Family One”. In 5th grade, she participated in the show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs” and entered the top 30. In 2015, friends from her parents’ college approached her to audition for Indian Idol Junior. She was selected in Lucknow and then went to Delhi where she qualified and got a golden ticket to Mumbai. In Mumbai, the theater conducted three rounds of auditions and she successfully cleared two of them. She made it to the top 20 on the show. In 2016, 10-year-old Nishtha participated in the TV show “Children’s Voice India”. She joined Neeti Mohan’s team and became the winner of the show. As the winner, she received a cash prize of Rs. 25,00,000 and a contract with Universal Music. After winning the competition, she said:
